BBC2 seeks sdea's help

15 November 2007

bbc2

Running an independent fashion shop is a tough business. The woman that turned Harvey Nichols into a modern powerhouse of fashion and style is back to save struggling boutiques from going under. In Mary Queen of Shops, Mary Portas retail expert and branding and marketing supremo, helps independent boutique owners rediscover their passion for fashion and puts their struggling shops back on the road to recovery.

Using her Little Black Book of contacts, Mary takes shop owners behind the scenes of the retail industry to reveal the tricks of the trade that the big boys use to get customers through the door.

The producers are currently looking for a final shop to complete their new series and wondered whether any sdea member might know of a struggling independent retailer that could benefit from Mary's retail expertise?

Their approach is sensitive, and Mary's track record of success is proven.

If you do know of a shop that could do with some help, then please get in touch with Emma Vulliamy
