At its Annual General Meeting on 11 May, the Shop and Display Equipment Association re-elected Nick Wraith, Managing Director of United Aluminium Ltd as President and Christopher Shoebottom, Managing Director of Albion Design & Fabrication Ltd as Vice President.  Geoff Fairfield, Managing Director of Fairfield Displays & Lighting Ltd remains Immediate Past President.

The AGM also saw four new members elected to the Executive Council: Mark Ellis, Sales & Marketing Director, Metal Craft Industries UK Ltd; Colin Hibbs, Managing Director, Protean Design Ltd; Angus Morton, Head of Sales and Marketing, B Brown Display Materials and Alan Pegram, Sales Director, Global Display Projects

They join existing Council members; Ronald Cohen, Managing Director of Foxbarn Ltd, Simon Olley, Managing Director of Stylo Ltd, Antony Behiels, Managing Director of Annequin and Creatif Leven Displays; Gary Pearce, Managing Director of SGi Ltd and Peter Thompson, Operations Director of ImageHolders Ltd

This year’s attendees enjoyed a fascinating talk from Tom Nathan the General Manager of Brent Cross followed by a superb lunch at Bluebird Restaurant, Chelsea.
