LiteRaft : The Automated Lighting Gantry from Litestructures

A motorized truss system from Litestructures offers a lighting solution for atriums and other areas, whilst removing the need to access high level areas for maintenance.

In 2006 46 fatal accidents and 3350 major injuries in the work place were caused by falls from height (Extracted from HSE 2007 report).

By installing a moving gantry system we remove the hazard of maintaining high level lighting, whilst also offering the advantages of a flexible system. This affords the user the ability to reposition the lighting instantly.

This can help to change retail environments and help create moods within certain areas of stores. Giving the user the flexibility to change the lighting positions themselves allows for more creatively lit retail spaces produced by the people who use that space.

The rigs themselves offer a taste of the Rock and Roll industry, incorporating a number of innovative technologies. Constructed from aluminium to give a high strength to weight ratio, LiteRaft is available in a number of formats dependent on the required size and weight loads. The choice of single and three circuit universal lighting tracks, compatible with many manufacturers' fixtures, completes the package.
